Apple CarPlay Compatibility by Model
Not every Jaguar or Land Rover supports Apple carplay activation out of the box. Some need a simple software activation, others require hardware changes. Use this matrix to find out exactly what your vehicle needs.

Key Points
- Pre-2020 models: Most do not have CarPlay from the factory. It can be unlocked via software activation in under 30 minutes.
- 2020β2023 models: Many have CarPlay-capable hardware but it is disabled by region or trim level. Activation is possible.
- 2024+ models: Wireless CarPlay is now standard across most JLR vehicles with Pivi Pro or latest Touch Pro systems.
- Wired vs Wireless: Older vehicles with InControl Touch Pro only support wired CarPlay. Wireless CarPlay requires Pivi Pro or newer hardware.
